About RxRelief

RxRelief was started by a practising BC pharmacist who spent years covering relief shifts the hard way: group chats, cold calls, and agencies that quoted a rate to the pharmacy and a different one to the pharmacist. Rates were a negotiation instead of a number. Shifts were accepted without knowing the staffing, the script volume, or the software. And when a shift went badly, the pharmacist had no way to warn anyone.

Meanwhile owners and managers were paying agency margins on top of an already tight relief budget, and still had to chase paperwork for every new face. Both sides were losing to the middle.

RxRelief was built to remove that middle — a marketplace where the rate is the rate, the shift details are on the card, and both sides carry a reputation.

To make relief pharmacy work fair, transparent, and fast for both sides — so pharmacies get covered and pharmacists get paid what was posted, on time.

• Rates upfront: every posting shows the hourly rate or rate range before you accept, and the confirmed rate is what lands on the invoice.
• No recruiters: pharmacies and pharmacists deal directly with each other.
• Credentials reviewed: CPBC registration and insurance are submitted once, reviewed, and shown to employers instead of re-collected every shift.
• Two-way ratings: pharmacists rate employers on management, staffing, tech support, and payment punctuality — not just the other way around.
• Real shift detail: script volume, facility type, software, and location distance are on the card before you commit.
• Automatic invoicing and payouts: invoices with GST are generated on completion and paid through the platform.
