Terms of Service
Effective date: August 19, 2026
1. About RxRelief
RxRelief is an online marketplace platform operated by RML Pharma Inc., a British Columbia corporation. RxRelief connects registered pharmacists with pharmacies and clinics seeking relief shift coverage. RxRelief is not a staffing agency, employer, recruiter, or party to any employment agreement between pharmacists and pharmacies.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using rxrelief.ca you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
3. Eligibility
To use RxRelief as a pharmacist you must hold a valid registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC) and be legally authorized to practice pharmacy in BC. To use RxRelief as an employer you must be a licensed pharmacy or healthcare facility operating in Canada.
4. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
- RxRelief reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
5. Pharmacist Responsibilities
By accepting a shift through RxRelief you confirm that you:
- Are legally authorized to perform the duties required.
- Hold valid professional liability insurance.
- Will arrive on time and perform the shift as agreed.
- Will comply with all applicable laws, CPBC standards, and pharmacy policies.
6. Employer Responsibilities
By posting a shift through RxRelief you confirm that:
- The shift details including rate, hours, and requirements are accurate.
- You will not alter the agreed rate after a pharmacist accepts.
- You will provide a safe and appropriate working environment.
- You will pay invoices promptly upon completion of the shift.
7. Platform Commission
RxRelief charges employers a platform commission of 8% of the total shift value. This fee is automatically deducted when an invoice is marked as paid. Pharmacists pay no fees to use RxRelief.
7a. Permanent Hire Placement Fee
If an employer hires a pharmacist permanently — as an employee, associate, or ongoing contractor — within 12 months of first being connected with that pharmacist through RxRelief, a one-time placement fee of $3,000 CAD applies. Employers must report the permanent hire through the "Report a permanent hire" form on their dashboard, and RML Pharma Inc. will invoice the placement fee. Circumventing this fee by arranging the permanent hire outside the platform is a breach of these Terms.
8. Payments and Invoices
- Invoices are automatically generated upon shift completion.
- Employers are responsible for paying invoices in a timely manner.
- RxRelief uses Stripe for payment processing.
- All amounts are in Canadian dollars and include applicable GST.
9. Cancellation Policy
Shift cancellations are governed by the RxRelief Cancellation Policy available at rxrelief.ca/cancellation-policy. Both pharmacists and employers are bound by this policy upon accepting or posting a shift.
10. Ratings and Reviews
- RxRelief operates a two-directional rating system.
- Both pharmacists and employers may be rated after each completed shift.
- Ratings are anonymous until both parties have submitted.
- Users must provide honest and accurate ratings.
- Fraudulent or retaliatory ratings may result in account suspension.
11. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Post false or misleading shift information.
- Circumvent the platform to arrange shifts outside RxRelief after initial contact through the platform.
- Harass or discriminate against other users.
- Share another user's private information.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, design, trademarks, and technology on RxRelief are the property of RML Pharma Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
RxRelief is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the conduct of pharmacists or employers. RML Pharma Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from shifts arranged through the platform beyond the amount of fees paid to RxRelief in the preceding 12 months.
14. Termination
RxRelief reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or the platform.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
